N7 Day is upon us and fans of the Mass Effect series have A LOT to be excited about. Bioware and EA have released a new trailer for their highly anticipated upcoming game, Mass Effect: Andromeda. The trailer doesn’t appear to show any gameplay, however, it’s made entirely with in-game footage which means the beautiful visuals are representative of what the final game will look like. The trailer showcases various planets, aliens, and spacecraft, while also revealing that players will take on the role of a Pathfinder.

Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb tweeted that Mass Effect 2 and 3 are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today. That’s great news for fans who’d like to run through the series again without digging out their PS3s and Xbox 360s.

Fans can also sign up to be a part of the Andromeda Initiative at MassEffect.com. It appears to be an elaborate newsletter that will provide members with more info about the game as it approaches launch day.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release in Spring 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
