A few months ago, Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD remaster for the Wii U. As the March release date approaches, new details have emerged about the exclusive Wolf Link Amiibo and some unlock bonuses.
NeoGAF translated some product details from Amazon France that stated, “Unlock bonuses with “The Legend of Zelda” amiibos: Tap all the amiibos for the Zelda series to unlock bonuses in the game, such as regenerating your life, or getting arrows for your bow. The new Wolf Link amiibo even allows you to get into a new dungeon: “The Twilight Cave”. The data recorded on this Amiibo can even be transferred to the next episode on Wii U.”
There’s no official word yet on if the new dungeon will be made available through DLC or if the amiibo is required to access it.
Developed in co-operation with Australian developer Tantalus, Twilight Princess HD will feature inventory management via the Wii U gamepad, updated graphics, and will support the five Legend of Zelda amiibos that were released for the Smash Brothers series (Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and Shiek). The Wolf Link figure will be part of a special bundle that includes the official soundtrack.
The game is scheduled to be released for Wii U on March 4, 2016.
