Studio Wildcard, the creators of the large-scale survival game ARK: Survival Evolved, are reporting that their daily Xbox One player count is bigger than on PC. ARK was released into the Xbox Game Preview Program on December 16, 2015 and was downloaded over 1,000,000 times in the first week. Although the full release on all systems isn’t planned until June 2016, Studio Wildcard is working hard to fix bugs and bring the Xbox One version up to speed with the Steam Early Access version.
An update for the Xbox One is planned for sometime later this week which will add more Xbox servers, fix the “cave loading crash”, and add a new dinosaur (the Procoptodon) to the game.
